Numerous boutiques and large tax free stores sell leading international brands of clothes, shoes, bags, jewellery, watches, cosmetics, electronics, gifts and souvenirs, specialty foods, confectionary and Scandinavian design.

All shops serve you whether you are transferring to Europe or to Asia and USA. It is worth while to know that when you are travelling outside EU alcoholic beverages and tobacco products are sold duty free if you buying them at Helsinki Airport.

Restaurants and cafés

There are many different restaurants, cafés and bars to choose from when you want a refreshing break. You can even wash away your stress and strains in a real Finnish sauna.

Communication technology

Wireless internet is available free of charge in the whole terminal area. There are also several Internet kiosks where you can e.g. make a phone call. For lounge customers there are modern office facilities.

Smoking

Like any other European airport Helsinki is a non-smoking airport for the comfort of everyone. However, the airport provides several smoking areas located near to the gates where you can take a break.
