Driving instructions

Helsinki Airport is situated about half an hour from the centre of Helsinki by road (19 km). The directional signs on the way to the airport and at the airport area help you to find the right way.

Tampere and Turku cities are located 170 km from Helsinki Airport. There are highways to both cities from Helsinki. St Petersburg can be reached from Helsinki Airport via the E18 highway.

Coordinates for car navigation devices

Enter ‘Helsinki Airport' or use the following coordinates:  60° 18' 44.51" N and 24° 58' 17.43" E. These will take you to the spot on the airport access road where you can decide whether to continue to the terminals or to the parking areas.

Transportation from parking areas free of charge

The AirPort Bus operates non-stop at approximately every 15 minutes between 3:30 am and 1:30 am. In the night between Saturday and Sunday the bus operates non-stop.

The bus stops are located in front of the parking areas, on platform 9 of T1 and on platform 11 of T2. You can see the bus route and the stops on the service map.
