World's first Angry Birds airport shop opened in Helsinki airport
World's first Angry Birds Pop Up -airport shop is opened in Helsinki airport. You can buy the phenomenonal Angry Birds by-products onwards from T2 non-schengen terminal.
The shop is especially designed to match the Helsinki airport look both audiovisually and structurally. Pop Up shop is operated by R-kioski and will be open every day until the end of August 2012.
"Our aim is to entertain and meet the expectations of Angry Birds fans globally. The concept is in continuous development and we will open more airport shops in the future", says Harri Koponen, EVP Licensing and Merchanding from Rovio Entertainment Ltd.
R-kioski opens also a complete new kiosk at the airport's terminal T2 gate area in 11th Feb 2012 . There will be six new kiosks at the airport during spring 2012. The new kiosks improve the essential service selection such as press, books, beverages and take away sandwiches for the passengers.
