Rocking Chair Get-Together at Helsinki Airport on 3-5 February

This coming weekend, passengers can get a rocking start to their trip at Helsinki Airport's Rocking Chair Get-Together. This is a "Rocking Good Start" event on the WDC Helsinki Open Doors Weekend.

The event's rocking chairs may be freely used by all airport visitors during the WDC Helsinki Open Doors Weekend on 3-5 February. These classic Finnish chairs will be placed in the corridor between Terminals 1 and 2.

The Rocking Good Start event at Helsinki Airport is part of the World Design Capital Helsinki 2012 programme and the airport's own Design Year programme of events. Helsinki Airport is a main partner for WDC Helsinki 2012. The year's first WDC events at the airport include:

• 16 January-30 May 2012 "Portraits of Aviation" photography exhibition showing the work of six Finnish portrait photographers

• 3-5 February 2012 Rocking Good Start (WDC Helsinki Open Doors Weekend event)

• 4 February 2012 Guided design tours at Helsinki Airport

• 1-9 March 2012 Vantaa Art Museum "Kauneus 6" exhibition
