Future

To enable the growth and development of Helsinki Airport also in the future, Finavia has started large extension, renovation and redevelopment works. These will improve the services both for the airlines as well as for their passengers.

Renovation work between 2009 and 2014

March 2010: A modern luggage centre will make baggage handling more efficient
April 2010: some of the new check-in facilities will be opened and more capacity will be acquired
January 2014: Ring Rail Line, an urban rail line to Helsinki Airport will be inaugurated
